Being a mother of 2, having a full time job and working with children at my church, needless to say I burn the candle at both ends. I had non-stop lower back pain and shooting pain down both legs. I am an active 50 year old that recently had a sudden swelling in my knee. I hadn't done anything out of the ordinary but the joint was locked out and painful. I did not consider chiropractic as my first choice, because I was unaware that anything could be done. Facing more expensive tests and possible surgery, I went to Dr. Doug Jones to see if he had any ideas. I had used him before for back problems and had great results. On the very first visit he adjusted my lower leg and I had immediate range of motion! After a couple of follow up visits I was pain free and resumed normal activities. I really appreciate Dr. Jones' gentle and thorough approach and highly recommend him to anyone in need of chiropractic care. I have always been a person that will put off medical treatment until the issue gets real bad. I spoke with Dr. Doug Jones at Northside Family Chiropractic and he asked me to stop by for a consultation. After speaking with him, he suggested an adjustment due to the fact that my left ear had been getting clogged every couple of months. My primary physician just prescribed antibiotics ten years ago, and he told me that he could prescribe me stronger antibiotics if it didn’t clear up but it was just a temporary fix. I had just accepted the issue and figured it was something I had to live with. Dr Jones adjusted me and within a week my ear was back to normal. I had been dealing with this for ten years. Dr. Jones is very knowledgeable, not only about the spine, but about how your entire body works. I never would have thought to consult a chiropractor for any issue other than back pain.
