I was born in Waco, Texas and moved to Oklahoma when I was three. I attended Jenks Public Schools in Oklahoma from K-12, graduating in 1986. I then attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri for my pre-chiropractic education. I moved to Kansas City to attend Cleveland Chiropractic College, graduating in 1991.
My first clinic was located in Derby, Kansas, a suburb of Wichita. I practiced there for 20 years and moved to Owasso, Oklahoma in 2011.
My hobbies include stain glass, leather crafts, chainmail weaving, book binding, woodworking, and writing. Most weekends you will find me watching movies, traveling, or other fun adventures. I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh. Patients will commonly tell the staff, "We know the doctor is in today, because we can hear him laughing!"
My philosophy of chiropractic is that God made the body to heal and function properly, but sometimes improper nerve flow limits those abilities. My goal is to help people restore that nerve supply so their body can work and heal optimally, the way it was designed to. I really enjoy seeing patients get better with chiropractic care!
